As the Director, Regulatory & Compliance Governance, you’ll lead the development and oversight of marketing compliance frameworks that ensure Humana’s communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory standards. You’ll partner across teams to embed compliance into every step of the marketing lifecycle—helping us deliver clear, compliant, and compassionate messaging to our members.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, regulated environments and is committed to enabling marketing excellence through governance and accountability.As a key leader in Humana’s Marketing Technology and Operations organization, you will oversee regulatory and compliance governance across all marketing channels and processes.Regulatory Oversight & GovernanceLead the Enterprise Marketing Governance team, including reusable language management and line-of-business (LOB) governance across Insurance, CenterWell, and MedicaidServe as the primary liaison between Marketing and Legal, CMS, Regulatory Affairs, IOP, and Carrier partners—ensuring alignment and timely resolution of compliance issuesMonitor regulatory changes (e.g., CMS, HIPAA, TCPA, state-level Medicaid rules) and translate them into actionable guidance for marketing teamsMaintain accurate and current process documentation for regulated activities and ensure audit readinessPartner with QA and execution teams to ensure regulatory standards are met across all marketing channelsTrack and manage Issues & Opportunities (IOPs), ensuring resolution paths and visibilityReview & Approval OperationsOversee the end-to-end review and approval process for marketing materials, campaigns, and member communicationsManage and evolve the Enterprise Marketing Governance Database and reusable language librariesEstablish training programs and documentation to promote compliance awareness and accountability across the marketing organizationDevelop and report on compliance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvementCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, IT, and LOB teams to ensure cohesive delivery and governanceSupport vendor evaluations and contract management in collaboration with Procurement and LegalInfluence enterprise standards and contribute to governance forums related to marketing compliance and risk.Your leadership will ensure Humana’s marketing practices uphold the highest standards of integrity—protecting members, the brand, and the business.Use your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Legal Studies, Risk Management, or related field or relevant work experience8+ years of experience in marketing compliance, regulatory affairs, or governance in a highly regulated industryDeep understanding of healthcare regulations including CMS, HIPAA, TCPA, and Medicaid marketing guidelinesProven success in developing and managing compliance frameworks and cross-functional partnershipsStrong communication, analytical, and leadership skillsExperience managing review and approval workflows and audit documentationPreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree or certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Healthcare LawExperience with compliance workflow tools and documentation systemsFamiliarity with marketing operations, campaign lifecycle, and content review processesBackground in training development, change management, or audit preparationExperience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial servicesBackground in training development or change managementExperience in audit preparation and regulatory reportingAdditional InformationTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Humana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$150,000 - $206,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
