The organization has since expanded rapidly and now operates globally across 7 pany Overview:Headquartered in IndiaGlobal presence: USA (Chicago), UK, Germany, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand, Japan1,000+ employees worldwideApprox. $100 million in annual U.S. revenue30+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain servicesRole Overview:As theGeneral Manager – Sales, you will lead U.S. sales and business development initiatives, with a focus on expanding theIndia-U.S. trade lane. You will also manage a small team in Chicago and contribute to broader trade lane development and client engagement efforts nationwide.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Sales GrowthDevelop and implement sales strategies to expand revenue and market share in the U.S.Identify and acquire new direct customersDrive individual sales efforts to meet/exceed targetsDevelop and manage relationships with small/mid-sized U.S. agents to support India laneClient & Partner Relationship ManagementStrengthen relationships with current U.S. customersMaintain and grow agent network partnershipsAct as the key point of contact for high-value clientsMarket & Trade Lane DevelopmentLead initiatives to grow all trade lanes with strong emphasis on India-U.S.Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive insightsDevelop tailored logistics and supply chain solutionsSales Team LeadershipBuild, train, and lead a high-performing sales team across key U.S. locationsProvide mentorship, coaching, and accountabilityEstablish sales incentives and performance metricsStrategic Planning & ExecutionCollaborate with executive leadership on national sales strategyPartner with operations to ensure service excellenceReport on sales performance and market developmentQualifications:5+ years in sales or business development within freight forwardingDemonstrated experience developing theIndia trade laneStrong understanding of global freight markets and trade regulationsProven ability to meet/exceed sales goalsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsExperience working with both direct customers and agent partnersSelf-starter with long-term vision and strategic execution abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
