This role is part of BMC Software Value and Solution Engineering (VSE) and focuses on collaborating with Sales and customers to translate business needs into practical solutions.Join us as a Senior Solution Engineer on our Digital Business Automation Presales team. You will work directly with Sales and Presales to create strategy, timelines and deliverables that align customer initiatives with BMC solutions. Responsibilities Through a consultative approach, partner with sales teams to interpret complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering both business and technical value. Simplify communication of technical and business content to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers). Partner with the customer to document current state, including metrics, to define the correct solution and support business case creation and deliverables for use by Sales and other Solution Engineers during the sales cycle. Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept derived from customer findings and goals. Challenge oneself and innovate in solving everyday problems. Engage in global projects and contribute to solving problems as part of the team. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in a presales capacity or related technical role. Proven ability to develop broad awareness of a client's technical architecture and emerging technologies, with knowledge of what is possible. Subject matter expertise on the technology and business use of one or more Workload Automation/Orchestration solutions. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver compelling demonstrations. Salary and Benefits The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors considered in compensation decisions. The range listed is one component of the compensation package; other rewards may include a variable plan and country-specific benefits. Estimated range: $128,250 - $213,750.
