The Head of School is responsible for the operational, academic, enrollment growth, and fiscal health of the campus.Starting ASAPIn Person, Year-RoundBase Salary Target Range: $98,000 - $115,000. Position bonus eligible annually for performance.Your Day to Day ResponsibilitiesCulture, Vision & Leadership: Builds a strong, cohesive team that lives the Fusion Academy values; paints a compelling picture and ensures a unified vision for the team; instills joy and fun into our mission; applies persistent creativity to complex problems; maintains a high level of campus team retention through a dynamic and healthy culture.Talent Development: Recognizes peak skill sets and models behavior; sets and expects clear, high standards; addresses performance issues swiftly and fairly; demonstrates success through consistent effort and passion.Enrollment & Fiscal Growth: Exceed all top line and bottom line targets; ensure appropriate account management within the campus; manage labor costs and staffing; build enrollment through community outreach and connection; drive our contact strategy to maximize lead-to-enrollment conversion; execute a solid community outreach and local marketing plan; close enrollments effectively and follow up; build relationships with local schools, institutions, businesses, influencers, educators, and specialists; seek partnership opportunities; maintain a healthy campus culture among students, staff, and families; ensure student programs and services are offered on campus; uphold solid administrative practices and superior customer service; communicate with parents, students, and staff to gain feedback and address concerns; develop campus teams that provide excellent service; manage student academic, social, or behavioral issues in alignment with school policies and values; address customer service issues and empower campus teams to do the same.RequirementsBachelor's degree in education, business, or relevant field; preferably a Master’s or higher.3 to 5 years of demonstrated successful school leadership experience (preferably middle & high school) with a deep respect for teaching and learning.Excitement for alternative or non-traditional education systems.Experience interacting directly with a variety of stakeholders; business growth experience through increasing enrollment or other business development.Culture building, team creation, and inspirational leadership experience.A passion for delivering mastery-based education to students with learning differences, including social and emotional differences.Experience managing a budget, financial reporting, and tracking specific metric performance.A demonstrated track record of success, career progression, and increased responsibilities.A belief that students achieve the highest standards when appropriate school processes and procedures are in place.Management & LeadershipManagerial and program development experience in an educational setting.People management experience, including recruitment and leadership of a professional staff.Experience providing professional development and mentoring.Ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture.Ability to drive success and represent Fusion core values, earning staff recognition.Visionary leadership that articulates the value of Fusion.Collaborative focus with agility in balancing varying viewpoints in decision-making.Ownership and accountability for achieving specific metrics of success.Personal TraitsA passion for serving students.Motivation to achieve goals and meet deadlines.Persuasive communication with strong customer focus.Ability to quickly build relationships.Ability to handle difficult conversations and create harmony.Enthusiasm, flexibility, high energy, and tenacity.Highly organized with effective time pensationBase salary is competitive.
