Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a senior full stack developer to help us build new products and scale our infrastructure from the ground up. As a fast-growing health tech startup, we’re seeking a candidate who is willing to work on projects ranging from dev ops to bug fixes to new product development. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, an analytical problem solver, organized, and an excellent communicator.7+ years of software development experienceBachelor's Degree or higherExperience with our tech stack: Serverless Framework, SQL Server RDS, Postgres, AWS Lambda, S3, .NET 6, C#, React, Typescript, and JavaScriptExperience with UI automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium)Experience with X12 EDI Standards (270 / 271, 278)Experience working in HIPAA and SOC2 Type II compliant environmentsExperience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend EHR systemsExcellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and effective collaboration with teammatesInterest and curiosity in healthcare interoperability in the U.S.Availability to work in EST time zoneResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced Agile environment, actively participating in all Agile ceremonies.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, monitor application performance, and implement solutions to improve system reliability.Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.Develop and implement unit and automation tests, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure robust software delivery.Mentor and coach junior engineers, assisting in skill development and onboarding to promote team growth and collaboration.Identify and address performance bottlenecks, refactor legacy code, and promote best practices for code maintainability and scalability.maxRTE is committed to training, mentoring, and accelerating the careers of our team members.
