Devops Engineer

Interview type: Telephone + face-to-face W2 Contract Qualifications Candidate should have above average skills and experience with Perl, Python, or Ruby. Candidate should be familiar with Perl, Unix Shell, and Procedural languages. Experience with Source Code Management (SCM) systems such as Git/Gerrit, SVN. Strong Unix/Linux administration skills, scripting, LDAP, and Identity Management. Experience working in distributed environments and sites. Strong familiarity with administering Ubuntu-based hosts. Additional Information Candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary IT engineers to support Chef recipes, regional mirrors, sync issues, and new sites. Support for remote sites and PostgreSQL databases, including regional replicas and cluster management. Production management tasks such as hardware installs, upgrades, networking (VIPs, VLANs), and cluster change management. Development/QA management involving Git/Gerrit architecture, development tools, SCM, Unix server processes, hooks, and Gerrit upgrades. Provide clear requirements and documentation for development initiatives. Deliver service-oriented support, tools, methodology, and procedural training to customers. Build and support infrastructure hosts, evaluate and implement new technologies, perform upgrades, installations, and configuration changes. Monitor daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and develop infrastructure documentation. Provide on-call or after-hours support as needed. Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in a highly dynamic environment. Ability to interact effectively with domestic and international engineering teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
