Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to perform the monthly close process for all US entities. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting. The Senior Accountant: is a proactive individual with a strong technical accounting base, ensures adherence to polices and processes across the organization that enable accurate and timely month-end close and reporting with a continuous improvement mindset, collaborates cross functionally, seeks improvements and implements efficient, effective solutions through automation, provides research and support in accordance with US GAAP, supports external audits, leads by example with a positive and team first attitude, and balances organization goals while promoting continuous learning and development of team members. Key Responsibilities Perform daily operations of the general ledger accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities, including cost allocation, elimination entries, and reconciliations. Drive continuous improvement of the month-end close process through automation and standardization. Record and perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses. Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded timely, accurately and in accordance with US GAAP. Perform accounting research as required and in accordance with US GAAP. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Improve, develop, and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, and controls to support the Organization’s financial reporting and internal management needs. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Accounts Payable, Payroll) to ensure accurate and complete financial data. Support the annual external audit process, including coordination with the external auditors and facilitating the preparation of audit requests. Ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting preferred CPA required Proficiency in NetSuite and Alteryx preferred 2+ years of progressive accounting experience from a Public Accounting Firm. Experience with SAAS or software clients is an advantage Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks, with the ability to implement new accounting procedures, standards and policies. Focus on process improvement and automation Excellent analytical, research and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to adapt and adjust quickly to competing priorities to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus. Excellent organization, time management, and collaboration abilities. Effectively collaborates in cross-functional teams. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
