This role offers a significant opportunity to influence a well-established organization’s future and success.Job Title : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Location : Western Chicagoland SuburbsIndustry : GovernmentSalary : $200,000 - $275,000Key Responsibilities :Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of financial management.Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the organization’s financial health.Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, offering insights into financial performance.Lead budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with organizational goals.Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks, advising leadership on financial decisions.Supervise finance and accounting teams, providing leadership, mentorship, and support.Oversee audit processes and establish controls to safeguard assets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions.Serve as the primary financial advisor to leadership, guiding strategic initiatives and decisions.Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or CFA designation preferred.Proven experience in government or university financial management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
