OverviewShields Health Solutions is looking to hire an Associate of Strategic Finance, reporting to VP of Strategic Finance, to work directly with the C-Suite, Regional VPs, and functional leaders on cross-functional finance and strategy projects. The Strategic Finance team is charged with building and supporting the financial, analytical, and strategic insights infrastructure to scale the rapidly-growing company. The team functions as the go-to group for cross-functional analysis and business case building, as well as subject matter experts in both company and site-level finance and accounting. Given its unique position within the Company, team members are provided learning and development opportunities directly with the core executive team with the ability to make a lasting impact on the Company. Members of the Strategic Finance team are provided distinct visibility into the operational model and growth-engine of one of the fastest-growing, nationally scaled healthcare enterprises. These experiences will provide the foundations of success for the future finance, strategy, growth, and business leadership of the Company.This will be a very hands-on and analytical role. Strategic Finance professionals will be expected to focus real-time on the highest-priority business issues and be plugged into every facet of the business. You can expect to define and drive detailed analyses to derive insights that will drive key business decisions, help define and track key performance metrics for the company, and act as a strategic partner to our leadership teams. You’ll focus real-time on high-priority business issues and see your insights turned into impactful initiatives on a regular basis. The ideal teammates will be great communicators with outstanding interpersonal skills, exceptional analytical horsepower, have a growth-mindset, and possess the ability to work comfortably inside a highly entrepreneurial environment that is very results-oriented.Representative Job Responsibilities and DutiesWork directly with the C-Suite and other Company leaders to execute and support key business prioritiesSupport the development of the Company’s operating and forecast model – refinement, updating, evaluating, and be the subject matter expertSupport development of investor-facing and board materials to advise key stakeholders on overall company financials, initiatives, strategy, and operational resultsSupport investor communications, reporting, capital markets and related activities (both equity and debt related)Collaborate cross-functionally, to identify, scope and monitor growth opportunities and initiatives (organic and inorganic)Develop data-driven investment theses, business cases, and evaluation criteria for growth and efficiency-oriented initiativesInteract with leaders across the organization as thought partners to enhance insights and understanding in order to enable a more proactive value-creation orientationIdentify and lead site-level and company-level value creation strategiesPartner with strategic operations and other key stakeholders in evaluation and execution of corporate development activitiesHelp optimize operating expenses and corporate purchasing, along with enhancing the Company’s abilities/understanding related to capital allocation and efficiencyBuild financial and operational metrics and dashboards to report key insightsSupport other FP&A workstreams as neededSkills and Position RequirementsEntrepreneurial attitude - willingness to roll up sleeves and work alongside team members to make things happen quickly and create valueMust be highly motivated, results-driven professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environment2+ years of corporate finance, investment banking, investing, corporate strategy/development, or financial consulting experienceOutstanding leadership potentialFoundational understanding of business modelsGrowth-mindsetExceptional Excel and Microsoft Office skills; including financial modeling and business visualizationHighly analytical with strong attention to detailCapable of solving complex business problemsAbility to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plansExperience in summarizing Company results in formal Management or Board of Director settingsAmbitious, reliable, and self-starter who is able to work independently, with limited oversight from managersEffective at multi-tasking; someone who enjoys and thrives wearing multiple hats at onceOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsShields Health Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
