We are excited to grow alongside you as Virtual Therapeutics continues to transform and grow with each passing day!The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help us build, automate, and run all aspects of VTs security operations program.Responsibilities:Participate in Agile Development practicesParticipate in software development security threat modelingObtain and maintain organizational certificationsCommunicate effectively within the InfoSec team and cross functionally as well as ensure proper documentationEnhance and update security incident response policies, processes and proceduresEnhance and maintain security detection, monitoring and logging technologies, and systemsActively participating in and running cross functional information security incident responseCarrying out digital forensics and working on information security investigationsCarrying out regular operational information security tasksOperate 24x7 security monitoring with a strategic partnerOffer input on strategic security direction and planningRequired/Minimum Qualifications:5+ of Information Security experience with at least two years of operational experience5+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (AWS and/or Google Cloud preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skills in a variety of situations with various stakeholdersExperience with risk benchmarking and security assessmentsExperience with asset management and automation techniquesWorking knowledge of multiple programing languagesExperience with Web Application Firewalls, Modern web application architecturesWorking literacy of versioning, GIT, SVNKnowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and other security frameworksKnowledge of modern application development, best practices, and tooling (IDE, Debugging, SAST/DAST)Experience leading complex information security incidentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Okta, Expel, Drata, Crowdstrike, CloudflareLocation:On-Site (Kirkland, WA) withup to 50% Flexible WFHSalary Range:$135,000 to $145,000 annually based on experienceSponsorshipWe are not sponsoring employment Visas or relocations at this time.Full benefits package including matching 401K, bonus opportunities, great company culture, and flexibility.Virtual Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment.
