We’re currently partnering with one of our clients to hire a Head of AI.As the Head of AI, you will lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions, focusing on transformer-based architectures, generative AI, and end-to-end model training. This role offers significant leadership responsibility with the potential to evolve into a C-level position (e.g., CTO, Chief AI Officer, or Chief Scientist). You will work hands-on to build and lead AI workflows, driving innovation in code generation and optimization processes.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of transformer-based AI models for innovative workflows.Oversee end-to-end model training processes, including data preparation, training, supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and reinforcement learning (RL).Drive innovation in generative AI and code generation to enhance process efficiency.Build and mentor a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and creativity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into core pipelines.Shape the strategic vision for AI, aligning with organizational goals and funding objectives.Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, ensuring approaches remain cutting-edge.QualificationsTechnical Expertise: Deep experience with transformer-based architectures, generative AI, and code generation. Proven track record in end-to-end model training.Post-Training Skills: Strong expertise in supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning (RL).Hands-On Approach: Preference for engineers who actively engage in hands-on technical work over purely managerial roles.Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience at leading AI labs with a focus on model training and development.Leadership Ambition: Desire to lead end-to-end AI initiatives and build AI-driven workflows from the ground up.Not Required: Experience at traditional hardware design companies is not preferred due to lower AI talent density. #J-18808-Ljbffr
