The Omnissa Legal Team is a close-knit group of colleagues who each wear different hats in their roles and who work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a group. In addition to working closely with other members of the Omnissa Legal Team, this role will partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across the Omnissa business to ensure projects are running this role, you will support multiple groups within the Legal Department, and as such, this is a tremendous learning opportunity for the right person. Our team environment promotes both autonomy and collaboration, making it an ideal place for those eager to grow and make meaningful contributions.Primary responsibilitiesProject manage various projects and initiatives across the Legal Department by gathering project requirements, providing updates, resolving issues, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time, and otherwise managing those projects and initiatives.Scale, innovate, identify efficiencies and suggest improvements to existing legal processes to improve process automation and promote anize the legal department’s day-to-day operational functions, including actively monitoring both internal and external legal e-mail distribution lists and aliases; responding to inquiries promptly and/or routing them to the appropriate stakeholders; updating key templates, policies and spreadsheets; processing signatures on documents; and sending out occasional letters and packages.Support a high-volume Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) intake process.Help manage the legal department vendors, invoicing, purchase orders and spend tracking, including vendor onboarding, completing required procurement questionnaires, vendor renewals and contract negotiations in collaboration with the Sourcing/Procurement and key legal stakeholders.Serve as a liaison for legal vendors and outside counsel, ensuring compliance with Omnissa’s billing guidelines and optimizing vendor relationships.Coordinate responses to document requests, subpoenas, and other records requests in connection with investigations and litigation.Coordinate team meetings, presentations, and internal communications.What will you bring to Omnissa?Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university5+ years of experience in project management and in-house paralegal rolesExperience with legal invoicing and spend management, including supplier onboarding, following procurement processes, liaising with legal vendors and outside counsel, setting up new spend matters and opening purchase orders (preferred)Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with attention to detailPromptly respond and action on the multitude of requests that come in through various communication channels (i.e. e-mail, Slack)High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential informationCore CompetenciesCreative and innovative problem solver, approaching complex legal challenges with innovative thinking and tailored strategies to address the unique needs of a high energy, accelerated paced global software technology company.Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively and to balance short-term needs with long-term objectives.Strong ability to work as a team player and effectively collaborate with fellow legal colleagues and cross-functional business stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple work streams, including both long and short-term projects in a very fast-paced environment.Bonus points if you haveProficiency in Smartsheet and Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Corporate governance experienceLitigation support experienceExperience using contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutionsBackground working for technology companiesExperience using AI solutions to scale the legal functionLocationMountain View, CA United StatesLocation Type: HybridTravel Expectations: 5%Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityCompensationThe typical base salary range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,050.00 - 168,450.00 per year.
