Position: Programming & Deployment Specialist (San Jose) Location: San Jose, CA Job Id: 117 # of Openings: 0 Entry Level: Must be able to achieve many objectives of this position. Requires some supervision to ensure tasks are completed properly and communication is timely and appropriate (verbal, written, email, etc.). Experience: Consistently achieves all objectives of this position and provides mentoring and supervision to Level 1 staff. Lead: Highly experienced with a deep understanding of installed systems. May lead complex projects and mentor others. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Creating controls programs, system databases, and graphical interfaces for BAS systems. Testing control programs. Documenting system compliance with design. Providing control drawings and test documentation to relevant teams and customers. Identifying and resolving project issues. Coordinating with subcontractors and installation teams. Supporting ongoing building system services and engineering. Reviewing submittals for scope, budget, and standards. Performing other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma required; technical degree preferred. Experience with control systems like Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Distech, Tridium, or Alerton is a plus. Basic understanding of computer systems and control logic configuration. Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electrical circuitry. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Essential Functions: Ability to lift, carry, and work on construction sites.
