They are driven and will have a passion for building large-scale software systems.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops, maintains and optimizes internal company data architecture for multiple, complex databases / data warehouses required to operate the businessOversees completion of data modelling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholdersApplies data extraction, transformation and loading techniques to connect large data sets from a variety of sourcesGuides the creation of data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data and solves highly complex data problems to generate features required by data scientistsDevelops and maintains highly complex infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access APIsReviews analysis and management of complex dataProvides consultation to other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practicesFosters a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutionsOversees build of repeatable data pipelines across multi- and hybrid-cloud environments of high complexityProvides consultation on leveraging Automation & CI/CD extensively for scalability, repeatability, and reuseBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)3+ years of experience building platforms and data products1+ years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions1+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with data pipeline tools and Extract Transform Load (ETL) servicesExperience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestionExperience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) hardware and software integrationExperience with C++, Python, and JavaPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)A Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited institution in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical degreeExperience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and toolingExperience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitLab, GIT, IIS, Windows ServerExperience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and/or exposure to Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft AzureExperience with Cloud technologies and/or Cloud-native app development and microservicesDrug Free WorkplaceBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
