With a recently closed $5M seed round led by top investors, they are scaling quickly toward a Series A in 2025. The company’s mission is to bring transformative technology into one of the world’s largest and most labor-intensive industries. By integrating advanced wearable hardware, cutting-edge computer vision, and robust software systems, they are creating tools that enhance safety, productivity, and workforce empowerment. Hundreds of devices are already deployed with major customers, and the platform is quickly becoming mission-critical for large-scale operations. What You Will Do As a Member of Technical Staff (Platform), you will design and build scalable systems that power the company’s core platform offerings. You will own initiatives from end to end, collaborating closely with product and hardware teams to transform complex real-world workflows into intuitive, high-performance software. Key initiatives include: Workforce Automation: Develop automated time and attendance systems with streamlined dispatch, roll call, and reporting workflows. Project Management: Build dashboards that visualize project roadmaps, crew allocations, and scheduling for operational leaders. Incentives & Rewards: Design gamified recognition and reward systems that connect directly with payroll and drive worker engagement. Training & Skills: Create learning management and certification systems to upskill and empower frontline teams. API & Integrations: Architect and scale integrations with HR platforms, project management tools, and enterprise software ecosystems. You will solve challenges in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and large-scale API integrations while ensuring reliability and scalability as the platform expands from hundreds to thousands of devices. Ideal Candidate Background 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong focus on distributed systems and production-grade SaaS platforms. Deep expertise in backend technologies (Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis) and modern web frameworks. Experience building scalable, real-time data processing and analytics systems. Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices, and high-scale architectures. Strong systems thinking mindset, with the ability to design for end-to-end platform reliability. Experience building intuitive software for non-technical users in operational or industrial environments. Track record of shipping features in startup or high-growth environments. Preferred Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience with workforce management software, HR tech, or enterprise workflow tools. Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or industrial SaaS platforms. Background in developing analytics dashboards, business intelligence tools, or workforce training platforms. Prior experience working with hardware-software integrations or IoT systems. Compensation, Benefits, and Other Things Salary: $175,000 – $275,000 Equity: 0.5% – 1.5% (pre-Series A grant at seed valuation) Benefits: Full healthcare coverage, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship available.
