Vice President Director, Connections Strategy (B2B)Digitas is the Networked Experience Agency, delivering Networked Experiences by integrating data, technology, creative, media and strategy capabilities for leading brands worldwide.OverviewAs VP/Director, Connections Strategy with a specialization in B2B marketing, you will provide strategic leadership on key B2B and B2C client engagements. You will focus on how to solve clients' business challenges through an orchestrated system of paid, owned and earned touchpoints that inspire connected creativity, aligning channels and technology with consumer and B2B buyer journeys.ResponsibilitiesGuiding strategy across key accounts while delivering industry-leading service.Analyzing data-centric resources to develop insights into media consumption and decision-making to guide a coherent connections plan.Mapping multi-stakeholder B2B customer journeys and consumer experience journeys to identify high-impact moments for brands.Crafting stories based on how people interact with digital platforms, peer networks, devices, and technology to connect with prospect and customer audiences.Partnering with relationship leads, data and technology experts, creative strategists, and cross-capability teams to translate the holistic plan into innovative ideas and programs.Identifying opportunities to leverage marketing technology and data throughout the plan, including first-party data, AI, and intent signals to drive personalization and ABM.Leading the evolution and ongoing management of a connections toolkit and outputs.Qualifications10-12 years of experience with a track record of impactful work; able to lead with strategic rigor and inspire teams.Multichannel digital media-savvy B2B marketing expert with omni-channel orchestration experience.Proven ability to leverage audience segmentation to build customer strategies.Deep familiarity with the B2B marketing landscape, including ABM platforms, LinkedIn advertising, B2B content marketing, and understanding of buying committees and long sales cycles.Strong analytical thinker with experience using media tools such as Comscore, MRI, Google Analytics to uncover data and insights for strategic planning.Cross-channel thinker with knowledge of media and ability to define channel roles to connect conceptual ideas with execution.Creative partner who can brief teams on the job to be done for each channel and own the holistic vision.Team leader and relationship builder with executive client presence and collaboration across the agency and partners.Mentor with a history of coaching and developing junior talent; excellent communication, organizational and time management skills; adaptable to change.Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus for ideation, research, or content generation.Additional InformationOur motto “Viva La Différence” reflects our commitment to belonging, equity and inclusive experiences for all talent.
