Location: Must be willing to travel to Washington, DCWork Preference: East Coast candidates preferredSummary of DutiesWe are seeking an experienced Sr. SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach who will serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile Teams while supporting Agile Release Trains (ART) in delivering value. This role requires driving team maturity through Agile values, principles, and proven success patterns. The Scrum Master/Team Coach will champion impediment removal, foster collaboration, and build a high-performing team culture focused on delivering business outcomes.Essential FunctionsCoach teams in self-organization and guide them toward higher levels of maturity.Demonstrate expert knowledge of Agile and Scrum techniques (e.g., Definition of Done, backlog refinement, automated testing, user story refinement, and PI Planning).Facilitate team conflict resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving in alignment with servant leadership principles.Support skill development and foster a continuous learning culture within the team.Ensure information radiators are visible and updated to provide transparency.Train and coach teams on advanced Agile practices such as SAFe, Kanban, Flow, Built-in Quality, and BDD.Prepare and facilitate iteration planning, daily syncs, system demos, retrospectives, and PI Planning events.Promote alignment within ART cadence while ensuring effective dependency management and continuous delivery.Collaborate with Product Owners to maximize product and solution value.Establish team Kanban systems, visualize workflow, and measure team performance via flow and OKR metrics.Foster Built-in Quality practices to ensure reliable, fast, and high-quality delivery.Build trust across teams and stakeholders while ensuring transparency and predictable delivery commitments.Serve as a Lean-Agile Leader across the enterprise, coaching other stakeholders and supporting SAFe adoption.Actively engage in Communities of Practice and assist SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs).Encourage cross-team collaboration to deliver whole product solutions.Facilitate the Innovation & Planning (IP) iteration to allow for innovation, learning, PI planning preparation, and Inspect & Adapt activities.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of 5 years experience as a Scrum Master / Team Coach in large-scale enterprise environments.Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.Proven expertise in Agile tools: Jira Software, Jira Align, Confluence, FigJam, AgilityInsights.SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification (Required).Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Preferred CertificationsSAFe SASM 6.0, SPC 6.0, SA 6.0, RTE 6.0Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ICAgile certifications, or equivalent Agile credentialsSAFe Studio experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
