OverviewJoin to apply for the District Manager - Software role at Heartland6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDescriptionAs a District Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of top-performing sales professionals, ensuring they achieve and exceed sales goals within your designated region. This role combines leadership, coaching, and direct sales to drive team performance and growth. You will conduct weekly 1:1 meetings, pipeline reviews, and sales coaching sessions to keep your team motivated, accountable, and equipped for success. This position requires hands-on fieldwork, with at least three days per week in the field spent working directly with your team to support and guide them through the sales process. You will focus on larger strategic deals within your territory and play a role in recruiting to ensure the team’s success.ResponsibilitiesOversee the performance of the regional sales team, ensuring achievement of sales goals and alignment with company objectives.Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support through regular field visits to foster accountability and high performance.Develop strategies with team members to close strategic sales opportunities and contribute to regional revenue growth.Facilitate weekly pipeline reviews and sales planning sessions to address challenges and drive progress.Collaborate with leadership on recruiting and selecting top talent to maintain a dynamic team.Monitor team activity, track performance metrics, and ensure effective execution of the sales process.Serve as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership to shape sales strategies.During training, work with the Director to master the sales process and utilize the Atlas CRM platform for lead generation, financial analysis, sales presentations, and contract processing.Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist the team in prospecting clients.Maintain CRM records (Atlas) with call notes, interactions, and contact information in accordance with company policies.Help team meet minimum production requirements to secure quota.Continuously expand knowledge of the product/service portfolio and financial technology industry.Attend and lead weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with leadership.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.QualificationsExcellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTraining and coaching experienceIncentive-driven sales leaderProfessional demeanor and integrityHigh sense of urgency and strong sales talentComfort with cold-calling and face-to-face conversationsKnowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plusMinimum Qualifications18 years of age or olderRegular driving to client sites; valid driver’s license requiredBackground check after conditional offerMandatory drug screening near day 60 of employmentLive in area relative to job posting locationAbility to be in the field 75% of the timePreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDAt least two years of relevant experienceCompetenciesAwarenessDrivenResilientRespectfulCommitmentBenefitsHeartland offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, EAP, paid time off, retirement and investment options, charitable gift matching, and worldwide days of service.
