The role focuses on strengthening development infrastructure and system interconnects for maritime platforms such as the Dive-LD and Copperhead, including CI/CD toolchains, networking solutions, and ensuring interoperability across first and third party assets.What You’ll DoWrite interconnect code between systems using Rust, Go, Python, and C++Build and automate development infrastructure systems, including CI/CD and testing pipelinesDesign and implement network topology and communication methodsDevelop and expand SITL and HITL testing and automation to properly implement featuresMature the development infrastructure automation processesImplement security and safety requirements to meet customer standardsNavigate dynamic, ambiguous environmentsTravel up to 10% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real worldRequired QualificationsProficiency in one or more of the following: Go, Rust, C++, Python (Go experience preferred, not required)Experience with API design and ProtobufStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teamsTrack record of working with customers to deliver novel software capabilitiesHave an intuition for finding solutions to complex problems that involve multiple first and third party technologies (related to simulation, data management, compute infrastructure, networking, and more)Comfortable configuring Linux-based systemsUnderstanding of networking fundamentalsStrong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or PhysicsEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with GoExperience or knowledge in network topology design, IT network engineering, and embedded device securityExperience working on autonomous underwater vehiclesSalary and BenefitsUS Salary Range: $168,000—$252,000 USD.
