Job DescriptionThis job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping define access and ownership of data by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance. This Sr Data Analyst role will be a part of the ECATS Analytics, AI, and Innovation team, which designs, builds, manages, and maintains Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Solutions for our Enterprise Credit and Banking teams. The role focuses on product management activities and efforts, primarily for our Analytics platform, with growth opportunities across AI initiatives. Responsibilities Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through testing procedures and data controls to identify business insights fit for purpose for a product set Develops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards; acts as a key contact for data compliance and manages operational elements of the Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Operations (EDSGO) relationship Manages data-related incidents; communicates and resolves or escalates issues; handles data inquiries related to data issues, data availability, and potential sourcing for informing decisions Develops, manages, and executes controls with tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with the data platform Partners with Business and Technology to drive business and functional requirements and ensures upstream resolution for data-related incidents Writes requirements for features, prioritizes work in the roadmap, and obtains PM/leadership approval Cross-collaborates with data and technology partners to develop features and stories Partners with technology to monitor feature development through daily updates and approvals (standup calls) Demo platform to internal teams, lines of business, key stakeholders, and senior leadership Coordinates adoption activities with business support leaders and other stakeholders Collaborates with UI/UX Designers, App Developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in solution development Facilitates ad-hoc Enterprise Credit Use Cases Coordinates with stakeholders including Technology, Sales, SMEs, and business sponsors Performs feature-level and end-to-end testing to identify bugs and ensure new product functionality Managerial ResponsibilitiesThis position may also have responsibilities for managing associates. Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill information into simple concepts and actionable insights for diverse audiences Understanding of data use governance and requirements Excellent presentation skills, delivering demonstrations that drive understanding to a broad set of stakeholders Desired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Math, Data Science, Accounting or equivalent experience 3 years of experience in the Enterprise Credit commercial lending lifecycle (loan origination, sale/servicing, default management, policy and procedures) Bank of America Enterprise Credit-specific business, systems and data expertise (CRP, LoanIQ, Workplace, Credit Center (nCino), GUS, GMS, Precision Lender, CED Navigator, Risk Rating Scorecard, and Profitability). Ability to work on cross-functional teams and adapt to changing processes, technologies, and environments.
