Destination Services Manager, AMS (Mandarin Speaker)

OverviewResponsibilities include overseeing landing destination services in the AMS region, managing local vendors, improving employee satisfaction, and standardizing operational processes. The Destination Services Team is part of Global Mobility Services and supports ByteDancers at all stages of their mobility journey, ensuring reliable adoption of global mobility processes and policies while managing external vendor performance.Destination services include:Home rental service: Assist with finding housing options, negotiating lease terms.Settling-in service: Assist with bank account opening, utilities setup, etc.Area tour service: Introduce community facilities of the area surrounding the office and popular areas for renting.School search service: For employees with accompanying children, share information on local schools, accompany visits, and guide the school application process.ResponsibilitiesOversee landing destination services in all countries in the AMS region, manage local vendors, improve employee satisfaction scores, and standardize operational processes.Assign cases in the AMS region to vendors and ensure high service delivery and employee experience by managing global vendors and local partners, and by setting up operational processes and mechanisms.Act as a key point of contact, handling escalations or complex matters with employees and stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner, including coordinating service delivery and follow-up resolution between local providers and employees.Monitor and manage vendor spending by reviewing invoices and ensuring cost efficiency.Collaborate with Policy, HROP, and business teams to understand needs and ensure preparedness.Improve employee experience by building and updating knowledge bases for all AMS countries, training stakeholders, and creating/updating country-specific checklists, guidelines, and manuals.Participate in new RMC invites tenders procurement process and evaluation.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.At least 5 years of experience in vendor management or corporate relocation operations, able to motivate vendors and mobilize resources to achieve business goals.Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required, as the role supports employees relocating from China to the U.S. and requires clear communication during transitions.Preferred QualificationsStrong communication and problem-solving skills, high resilience, and the ability to adapt to business development needs.Advanced data analysis and logical thinking abilities to analyze business data and develop improvement plans.About UsFounded in 2012, ByteDance’s mission is to inspire creativity and enrich life. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package and may include bonuses, incentives, and RSUs.
