Samsung internships enhance your academic goals by providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply learned theory on real commercial projects.Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and bilingual senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team who has strong financial expertise, excellent communication and reporting skills in both Korean and English, and the ability to collaborate across HQ and local team members.This Senior FP&A analyst is responsible for driving the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role partners with cross-functional teams and senior management to deliver actionable insights that support company’s decision making.Position ResponsibilitiesCoordinate annual and mid-long-term corporate planning cycles, including expense and headcount forecastsCoordinate the budget planning, monitoring, and variance analysis process, ensuring alignment with company and corporate strategySupport monthly/quarterly financial closing processes, including CO activities, reconciliations, and variance explanationsConduct monthly Flash report to executives with insights into performance trends, risks and opportunitiesPrepare, review and deliver reports, presentations, and analysis in both English and Korean, ensuring clarity, logic, accuracy for executives and CXO.Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Accounting, R&D Labs) to align financial and business goalsContribute to process in FP&A, including automation, reporting tools, and best practice implementationSupport investment and capital expenditure planning, including ROI and usage analysisRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience3+ years of professional work experience in finance (FP&A), preferably in a tech or global companyAbility to analyze complex financial data and develop solutionsExcellent problem-solving ability along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and system optimizationStrong bilingual fluency in Korean and English (oral and written) – RequiredAct as bridge between U.S and Korea HQ for business and financial updatesProficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and financial software (e.g. SAP)Highly analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentProfessional certification (e.g. MBA, CFA) is a plusCompensationOur total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training.
