Overview Sr. Epic ClinDoc Analyst in La Jolla, CA. Hybrid schedule with onsite 3 days a week at Towne Centre Drive, San Diego, CA, and remote work other days. Responsibilities Design, build, test, and implement Epic's inpatient Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) module and related clinical application systems. Provide support to clinical users through knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards when adapting software to meet their needs. Apply expert knowledge of the Epic ClinDoc product and clinical workflows. Provide customer service, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance. Act as a technical leader in clinical applications, leading or contributing to medium to large projects of broad scope and complexity. May be recognized as an expert in an area of clinical applications focus. Minimum Qualifications Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Broad or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas in clinical applications; knowledge of operations, systems and functions including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, QA, and system testing/evaluation. Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, diagnose problems quickly, and develop effective solutions. Advanced interpersonal communication skills to train, support, and collaborate with clinical users and stakeholders at all levels. Advanced organizational and project management skills; ability to lead a team and drive projects to completion. Advanced written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical information clearly. Advanced analytical skills in documentation and reporting, with ability to apply metrics, plan and test systems, and produce substantive analyses. Ability to serve as a technical leader and information resource, guiding improvements, upgrades, and industry trends. Preferred Qualifications EPIC ClinDoc Certification EPIC Acute Rehab Certification RN, RT, PT/OT Experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. Pay Transparency Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 - $204,900 (prorated if appointment percentage Hourly Equivalent: $51.77 - $98.13 Factors in determining compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other needs. The posted range reflects the University budgeted range; final pay may vary. Additional Information If employed by the University of California, you will be required to comply with vaccination requirements and any applicable public health directives.
