US Seasonal Tax-Financial Services Organization-Real Estate-Senior Manager at EY Location: Anywhere in the United States Overview Join EY as a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager. Responsibilities Lead tax planning projects for a diverse client base with up-to-the-minute tax advice. Manage teams in a collaborative environment, emphasizing listening and information sharing. Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights. Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients. Develop clear plans to improve clients’ tax activities and tailor advice to their operations. Supervise a motivated team to ensure members have the skills and opportunities to grow. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline. Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment. Extensive knowledge of real estate tax technical and transactional areas (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, allocations, compliance, due diligence, structuring). Experience managing budgets, people, and projects; ability to lead business development within the market. Technical writing and research experience in a tax context; ability to prioritize multiple complex projects. Strong influencing skills with the confidence to question existing processes. Willingness to travel as needed; comfortable with a balanced hybrid environment. Additional Preferred Qualifications CPA or state bar membership.
