OverviewDirector, Finance Partner – Connected Care, Baxter International Inc. Join to apply for the Director, Finance Partner – Connected Care role at Baxter International Inc.This role partners with Baxter’s Connected Care Group to provide financial leadership and business partnering to the VP of the Connected Care Group (CCG). The organization is responsible for Baxter’s Connectivity Platforms, Connected Care Strategy and Connected Care and Communications (CCC) business unit. The Finance Leader will directly support approximately $260M in revenue for the CCC business and the delivery of Baxter’s connected products which are approximately $2B in revenue annually. The finance leader will drive global results and support transformational initiatives of CCG.Your ResponsibilitiesOwn and provide proactive leadership for the Annual Operating Plan and forecasting for the CCG organizations including capital allocation, reporting results, explaining variance drivers, understanding trend and highlighting risk and opportunitiesSupport leadership in defining strategic direction of the organizationSupport key commercial activities, such as pricing, deal structures and incentive program development; this includes monetizing and developing commercial structures for new connected care servicesSupport key operational activities and manage KPIsDeploy and manage standard processes, reporting and analytics, governance, and business partnership globally, ensuring consistency across the regionsDirect the capital spend budgets and corresponding forecasts; facilitate tracking and analysis of spend and ensure actuals are within targeted commitmentsLead compliance with internal controls, GAAP, SEC requirements, and Baxter Financial Policies and Procedures for all related operationsIdentify business risks and determine and drive implementation of mitigation plansBuild and maintain a strong team and cross-functional partnershipsWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or professional certification is a plus15+ years of experience in accounting and finance; software and large public company experience a plusStrong business acumen and judgment; ability to influence and drive consensus with diverse stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple, competing priorities and demonstrate strong negotiation, interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skillsGeneral knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, tax and legal accounting (knowledge of acquisition accounting a plus)Experience assembling and managing ongoing staff and cross-functional teamsDecisive leadership with ability to generate ideas, develop alternatives, and drive implementationApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Baxter is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.Equal Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
