This role translates national strategies into localized execution, builds strong customer relationships, and mentors a high-performing team to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate could be located in the following regions: Northwestern Region – Seattle, WA or Portland, OR; Western Region – Southern CA; Bay Area, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Denver, CO; Central Region – Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX; Eastern Region: Philly; Southeastern Region: Knoxville, TN; Fort Myers, FL; Atlanta, GA.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop regional sales talentIdentify growth opportunities and expand market share in the Western U.S.Oversee forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline managementCollaborate with marketing, operations, and finance on regional initiativesFoster trusted customer relationships and ensure outstanding service deliveryRequired Qualifications10+ years of proven sales experience (Fresh produce retail and/or food service channels preferred)Minimum 3 years of business development experience, including identifying new market opportunities and expanding customer accountsDemonstrated success in people management, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teamsBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agriculture or related field preferredExperience with KPI and performance tracking, using data-driven approaches to set goals, measuring results, and adjust strategies for continuous improvementBackground in CPG or fresh produce sales, with a deep understanding of distribution channels, customer buying behavior, and competitive landscapesSkills and Preferred QualificationsStrong analytical and CRM system skillsStrong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and customer insights to drive strategic decisionsExcellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to work in a decentralized, fast-paced environment and travel regionallyEducationBachelor's (Required)ExperienceBusiness development: 3 years (Required)Fresh produce sales management: 3 years (Required)Consumer Packaged Goods sales: 10 years (Required)KPI and performance tracking: 3 years (Required)Willingness to travel50% (Required)Job TypeFull-timeSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Farming #J-18808-Ljbffr
