The Sales Executive will develop new business opportunities, manage overall client relationships with the support of a service team, and lead strategy on complex accounts.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping New RelationshipsDeveloping a network of outside influencers using various methods, including but not limited to referrals, industry associations, and other professional service providersActively prospecting for new business opportunities through our sales tools, personal and professional networks, Company-sponsored events, and referrals.Creating synergy across the Company/'s practice areas while identifying cross-selling and account rounding opportunitiesFollowing up on leads promptlyManaging all sales activity within our customer relations management systemEngaging in professional and networking activities that maintain and expand the current book of businessAchieving annual sales goal at or above agency standardsMaintaining an active pipeline of 3x annual sales goalsLeading Risk Management Strategies for Existing RelationshipsProviding efficient, professional, courteous service to clients in conjunction with Client Executives, Client Managers, and Account ManagersAnalyzing risk, coverage, program structure, and recommending options; executing coverage and program changesLeveraging insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain coverage terms, program options, and other items to clients as neededOffering innovative solutions, educating clients on insurance solutions available in the marketplace, and solving complex risk issuesWorking closely with service teams to review carrier proposals, analyze market summaries, and prepare renewal documents, ensuring timeframes and deliverables are met.Keeping current with carriers, strategic partners, products/services, and applicable legislationPerforming other duties and special projects as assignedActing as a backup to team personnel when necessaryMaintaining confidential informationYou might be an excellent fit for this role if youHave prior insurance sales and/or client executive experience in an agency, broker, or insurance company settingHave prior experience in building and/or growing a book of business in the professional services industryHave demonstrated technical consulting experience with a track record of high client retention marksEnjoy presenting to clients.Can work independently, as well as within an advisory teamFind energy in creating and cultivating new relationships.Are proficient in gathering data and excel in problem-solvingAre a self-starter who takes initiative to succeedAre committed to professional growth and enjoy learning new skillsHave exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with above-average knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelRequired5+ years of sales/consulting experience in the professional services industryBachelor/'s degreeInsurance experienceCEBS designationLife & Health license , or the ability to attain within the first 60 days of employmentExcellent computer and office machine skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products #J-18808-Ljbffr
