Our welcoming team takes pride in their love for the region, creating a warm, community-oriented atmosphere where guests feel like locals and locals feel like friends.Job OverviewDevelop, implement, and manage emergency programs for the operation and maintenance of all equipment, structures, and landscaping, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and all relevant codes and regulations. Responsible for short and long-term planning and daily operations of the engineering division, including budgeting, capital expenditures, and participation in hotel management as a member of the Executive Committee.ResponsibilitiesSupervise Human Resources activities within the division, including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, and discipline.Develop and manage the department's budget and capital expenditure plans to maintain a first-class property.Implement and oversee maintenance programs, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with safety standards.Develop, implement, and direct all Emergency Programs, conduct inspections and drills, and maintain records for safety compliance.Manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce expenses.Coordinate renovation projects, define scope and costs, and oversee contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.QualificationsEducation/Formal Training: More than two years of post-high school education.Experience: Four to five years in a related role within the hospitality industry.Knowledge/Skills:Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering, including plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical systems, and general maintenance.Ability to analyze activities and interpret data to make logical decisions.Strong management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.Proficiency in procedures, reports, budgets, and instructions.Physical DemandsFrequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 lbs, with occasional heavier loads.Frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.Mobility throughout the hotel premises, including all floors and heights.Continuous standing and occasional driving within a 20-mile radius.EnvironmentPrimarily indoor work (95%), with outdoor work (5%) and occasional exposure to cold temperatures in walk-in freezers.Salary: USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
