About the role This is a rare opportunity to build your career in a world class team and support the defence systems that keep Australia safe, on an 18-month fixed-term contract based in Bibra Lake, WA. We are seeking applications for a quality focused, and process driven Electrical Engineer based in Bibra Lake, WA. Reporting to Engineering Manager - SERS, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise to projects and services within JFD Australia to support effective asset management, life support, engineering design, analyses and technical assurance. Primary duties Supports the Maintenance Superintendent by providing onsite engineering support for services and maintenance requirements. Delivery & upkeep of the engineering dashboards and registers to the Engineering Manager. Support to deliver bids and enquiries with Australian engineering content, supporting and attending client stakeholder meetings as required. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Hold a Tertiary Engineering Qualification with an electrical specialty. Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime/subsea maintenance environment with a robust technical governance Framework. Excellent attention to detail and competent with updating, maintaining and controlling drawings documentation and procedures. Experience in Solid Works (drafting, modeling and design experience) Experience in PLM, preferably in the military environment, including demonstrated experience in configuration and configuration change management. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including presentations. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to meet schedule and changing requirements. Why work for JFD?
