The dashboards will serve approximately 250 machines across Compounding Operations and Filling & Assembly (F&A), using lessons learned from the Sakura (Japan) rollout. This role requires advanced expertise in , industrial UX/UI design, and integration with PLCs, MES, and OT systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead dashboard development using Ignition Perspective, ensuring responsive and mobile-first designUtilize Views, Containers, and UI components (charts, gauges, inputs) to structure and organize data presentationConfigure bindings, scripting, and event handling for real-time integration with PLCs and MES systemsBuild ergonomic, touch-friendly dashboards using UX best practices for industrial environmentsLeverage native device features (camera, GPS, barcode, etc.) for operational workflowsDeploy dashboards in Perspective Workstation for control room and kiosk accessEnsure security compliance (SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth, role-based access) using Ignition security featuresIntegrate with OT infrastructure (PLCs, MES, ERP, OT protocols) for accurate operational visibilityCollaborate with Engineering, IT, and Manufacturing to validate dashboard performance and usabilityIncorporate feedback and lessons from the Sakura rolloutDeliver complete dashboard set and documentation by year-endSupport user testing and commissioning across ~250 machinesRequired ExperienceMinimum 5 years of SCADA engineering experienceHands-on expertise with Ignition PerspectiveStrong background in PLCs, OT protocols, MES/ERP integrationManufacturing environment experience, including Compounding and F&AUnderstanding of industrial UX and responsive dashboard principlesSecure authentication setup using federated identity and role-based accessNice-to-Have ExperienceFDA-regulated environment familiarity (URS, test protocols, validation)SCADA deployments using Perspective WorkstationKnowledge of industrial design ergonomics and visual consistencyRequired SkillsIgnition Perspective developmentSCADA integration with MES/PLC systemsReal-time data binding and scriptingUX for industrial/touch environmentsPreferred SkillsPerspective container and View managementUse of native mobile device featuresOT protocol knowledge (Modbus, OPC UA, etc.)Industrial systems commissioning and testingSecure dashboard deploymentAdditional SkillsHTML5/CSS3 knowledgeEvent-driven scripting in PerspectiveHands-on collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsProject documentation and deliverable trackingBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientGlobal medical manufacturing organization focused on high-volume, high-precision compounding and assembly operations.
