About the company My client is rebuilding the path to observability using a real-time streaming analytics pipeline that provides monitoring, visualization, and alerting capabilities without the burden of indexing. By enabling users to define different data pipelines per use case, we provide deep Observability and Security insights, at an infinite scale, for less than half the cost. About the position Technical Account Managers are trusted advisors who consult customers on their monitoring, security & observability journey. This role sits at the intersection of very high technical expertise and a focus on customer satisfaction, renewal and expansion. Technical Customer Success Managers are senior-level roles expected to professionally solve problems, demonstrate product value, and interact across platforms and software from software engineers and DevOps to the C-suite. Responsibilities Solve customers’ technical problems by adopting the platform, integrating new data and existing integrations Understand customers’ technical requirements and business goals to create artifacts and deliver value Lead the onboarding process, from new integrations and artifacts to trainings and troubleshooting Know the Log Management / Observability markets well and apply best technical practices Build a successful ongoing game plan for each customer based on data analysis and needs Establish relationships with technical counterparts to drive product adoption Conduct QBRs with customers to reflect delivered value and align with needs Advocate internally for customer needs and influence product development roadmap Partner with Sales on renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities Requirements Background in Cloud DevOps with AWS (EC2, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, Load Balancers, CloudWatch) and equivalent Azure/GCP experience Experience in Observability with tools such as Kibana, OpenSearch, Grafana, Datadog, Sumo Logic, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Logz.io, SignalFx, Instana, Splunk, Honeycomb, Jaeger Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) Experience with technical integrations (OpenTelemetry, fluentd, fluentbit, filebeat, logstash) Hands-on experience with troubleshooting Kubernetes and Docker containers Good knowledge of RegEx, Lucene, PromQL Good knowledge of Linux Customer-facing experience with high-energy interactions Excellent English communication and strong presentation skills with executive credibility High availability for fast customer response Comfortable coding in any high-level language (Java, Go, Python) – advantage BSc in Computer Science / Engineering – advantage Experience in SAAS B2B software companies – advantage This role is located in Boston on a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office).
