Altera is seeking a Senior Cloud Application Infrastructure & Security Engineer who is passionate about cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and secure application development. This role combines infrastructure engineering, security leadership, and hands-on development to help shape the future of Altera’s cloud platform. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values initiative, clarity, and technical excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide infrastructure and security decisions while working on modern, impactful systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage scalable, secure infrastructure in Microsoft AzureGuide and implement security practices and influence company-wide standardsBuild and maintain Infrastructure as CodeDevelop event-driven governance systems using Azure FunctionsImplement observability and monitoring across infrastructure and applicationsContribute to application code (primarily Python, with exposure to other languages) and drive it from development to productionAdvise IT and engineering teams on cost optimization for GitHub and Copilot usageSalary RangeThe pay range below is for Bay Area California only.
