Our tools enable customers to develop electronic products faster and more cost-effectively in chip, board, and system design.Position OverviewSiemens Digital Industries Software seeks a proven and motivated individual to lead the Technology Solutions Sales organization for the Siemens EDA Electronic Board Systems (EBS) business unit, reporting to the Senior Vice President, EDA Global Sales. In this role, you will lead a global technical sales and business development team in driving multi-year new business campaigns in emerging technology areas for EBS. You will work across a globally distributed organization, collaborating with regional sales leaders and R&D stakeholders to identify and drive plans for high-impact investments and transformation across the company. The successful candidate will have deep experience within the EDA and semiconductor industries and the collaborative orientation to partner with senior leaders across multiple functions and drive business transformation initiatives to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving industry.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a high-performing team of Account Technology Managers: coach and guide annual territory and opportunity planning; support cross-team collaboration across Sales, Technical Sales, and Portfolio units; facilitate ongoing process development.Define sales territories and assess annual business objectives for gaps, risks, and fit against strategy; develop and present plans to fill gaps or de-risk initiatives.Contribute to global multi-year plans to achieve long-range goals; collaborate with peers to align plans, prioritize product requirements, and shape overall product strategy with the field to meet targets.Help the broader sales organization understand how to use solutions to address customer challenges and drive new incremental business for the Portfolio/Product Line.Evaluate the go-to-market process (discovery, leads, qualification, customer evaluation, and closure) and adapt as needed.Lead the team in evaluating sales campaigns, coordinating with ATMs, AEs, management, partners, and Portfolio Unit to ensure product/solution fit to customer needs.Partner with field and product marketing to define and execute strategic seminars, webinars, and other marketing activities to drive new leads.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 12+ years’ experience in the EDA/semiconductor/electronics industries, or equivalentProven success leading and developing a high-performing technical sales team; ability to identify emerging market trends and translate them into opportunities; drive improvements and craft winning technical sales solutionsStrong prospecting, demand creation, negotiation skills, and experience driving technical campaigns to closureExperience in a global, matrixed environment with ability to build trust with senior leaders and motivate cross-functional teamsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills at all organizational levelsSound business judgment and track record of delivering results aligned to company and customer needsAbility to manage competing priorities and solve problems in a timely mannerWorking ConditionsTravel: 30% or moreJob location: preferably in North America near a major airportEEO and BenefitsSiemens is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
