Litigation Associate

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of legal experience and will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients, drafting documents, conducting legal research, and handling complex legal matters in various litigation contexts. This position offers the opportunity for growth within a supportive and collaborative environment.Location:Minneapolis, MNDuties:Review and analyze newly assigned and existing matters to provide legal representation until resolution.Draft necessary legal documents and ensure final documents are completed through office procedures.Perform legal research using available resources such as libraries and computer data systems.Formulate and issue legal opinions to clients.Conduct negotiations when appropriate to resolve matters on behalf of clients.Advise clients regularly on the status of their cases.Maintain active membership in the state bar and complete required Continuing Legal Education (CLE) annually.Follow the ethical requirements set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct and comply with the firm’s professional liability insurer requirements.Participate in the firm’s marketing efforts.Minimum Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation.Knowledge of law and legal practice to perform substantive legal functions.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff.Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal matters.Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments.Willingness and ability to travel locally and statewide for client-related matters. #J-18808-Ljbffr
