Commercial Litigation Attorney

OverviewA leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its Miami office as a Department Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining a reduced-hours schedule in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a variety of complex litigation matters, including: catastrophic casualty claims; premises liability and dram shop cases; commercial and residential construction and property disputes; transportation and logistics matters; product liability and insurance defense; other business and tort disputes.Defend individual, insurance, and corporate clients in state and federal courts.Manage cases from initial complaint through pre-trial conferences, with autonomy to run litigation matters under partner oversight.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case strategy documents; conduct legal research; participate in client communications.Deposition experience strongly preferred.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Admission to the Florida Bar.Minimum of 3 years’ litigation experience at a law firm.Proven ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a team.Strong written and oral advocacy skills.Experience representing insurance, corporate, or individual clients preferred.What’s OfferedA non-partnership track role offering a manageable workload and reduced billable expectations.Exposure to high-quality, sophisticated litigation matters.A collegial work environment with direct partner oversight and petitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.Location: Miami, FL (onsite with some flexibility)DetailsSenior level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: LegalIndustries: Law Practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
