REMOTE - Associate Attorney - Employment Litigation

OverviewREMOTE - Associate Attorney, Employment Litigation. Chicago-based law firm concentrates exclusively on the representation of employers in labor relations, employment litigation, employee benefits, and business immigration matters. This role is remote with hybrid work options.Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. Salary is based on skills and experience.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related matters.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.Participate in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and trial.Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations under federal, state, and local employment laws.Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and partners.Stay informed about developments in employment law and advise clients accordingly.Maintain the highest ethical standards and professionalism at all times.QualificationsJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Must be licensed to practice law in the state.Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation, employment law, labor law, immigration, and general litigation.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload.Exceptional negotiation and dispute resolution skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes in employment litigation.About the Firm / Why JoinChicago-based law firm concentrates exclusively on representing employers in labor relations, employment litigation, employee benefits, and business immigration matters.
