This role is remote based out of Dallas, Texas, with travel across the US for customer visits or leadership meetings up to 50% of the time. Position Summary As the Healthcare Consulting Solutions Manager – West, you will lead a high-impact North America team of consultants and technical experts responsible for the design, consultation, and documentation of advanced Total Lab Diagnostic Solutions for our most important customers across the Western US. This includes overseeing the consulting and technical execution of automation, analytics, and informatics design experts. Using the global Healthcare Consulting Solutions (HCS) framework and tools, this role supports the commercialization of the Siemens Healthineers product portfolio, positioning our customers to successfully deliver better patient care through efficient automated workflows, digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring laboratory spaces are ready to receive and install new equipment. You will act as a consultative leader, enabling your team by working across customer engagement, technical solution design, and documentation (Hardware and Informatics), regional sales support, and implementation teams to deliver integrated software and automation solutions. You will also develop the team’s capabilities and ensure alignment with regional business priorities. This role is ideal for a people-first technical leader who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about scaling informatics capabilities that directly impact diagnostic excellence across the region. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: You will support the development and implementation of the overall strategy for the laboratory diagnostics-centric, healthcare consulting practice for Siemens Healthineers in the US. You will collaborate with sales and other commercial leaders to help define long-term objectives and goals for healthcare consulting solutions in the US that are aligned and support overall business objectives for the North America zone. This will be done in conjunction with other HCS leadership in the region. You will identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to drive business development and consulting solutions. You will establish relationships with key upstream and downstream partners (sales, marketing, sales operations, implementation, service) that will enable collaborative execution across the organizational matrix that results in improved customer and employee experience, as well as better commercial results. Operational Excellence: You will ensure the successful execution of consulting engagements, including scoping, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance management. This will be done in the context of a team who delivers total solutions for our customers, fully leveraging our automation and informatics portfolio. You will provide leadership and mentorship to the consulting team, fostering a high-performance team culture. You will establish KPIs and metrics to track success, outcomes, and overall performance of the consulting practice. In collaboration with the US HCS Leadership team, you will define standards of execution for the various roles in the team (automation and informatics) to drive adherence and accountability to those standards. Industry Expertise & Innovation: You will stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the laboratory diagnostics space. You will drive thought leadership by contributing to customer-facing, company-sponsored case studies and white papers, and developing innovative consulting frameworks. Through consulting engagements, you will help the HCS organization identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery. Required Qualifications And Experience Bachelor’s degree in medical/clinical laboratory science, healthcare administration, or another healthcare-related field. 5+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting within a healthcare provider organization or within an in vitro Diagnostics company 5+ years of experience working in a consulting setting or leading consulting teams in support of healthcare provider organizations. This experience must include laboratory solution design and informatics/digital transformation consulting. Experience managing direct reports is required. Demonstrated experience with the work of laboratory design for healthcare organizations, inclusive of workflow efficiency, automation design, informatics configuration, and lab digital transformation is required. This role is remote based out of Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate must be available to travel across the US for customer visits or leadership meetings up to 50% of the time. Preferred Requirements Graduate degree in Healthcare or Business Administration A deep experience and understanding of the laboratory diagnostics industry, healthcare market trends, and regulatory requirements in the US Laboratory Diagnostics Industry is required. Hands-on experience with lab automation and analytical systems, as well as LIS/LIMS, middleware, and IT data connectivity. Previous experience in capital equipment/informatics sales or in technical support for sales teams in the IVD space. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience working across a highly matrixed organization and sales process. Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate market trends into actionable healthcare consulting solutions. Experience working directly with leaders within healthcare systems, laboratories, and diagnostic companies. People leadership and team development, ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strategic vision and decision-making.
