Chief Operating OfficerCompensation: $180K–$250K base + performance bonus + equity potentialAbout The RoleAn established and growing manufacturing company based in Hutchinson, MN — within an hour’s drive of the southwest Twin Cities suburbs including Chaska, Eden Prairie, and Minnetonka — is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead and optimize its day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on executive role focused on driving operational excellence, scaling production capabilities, and supporting aggressive growth initiatives.You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to implement strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, ensure product quality, and position the company for long-term success. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to lead a dedicated management team in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and optimize operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and distributionPartner with the CEO to execute strategic growth initiatives, including market expansion and new product launchesIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiencyDevelop and track KPIs aligned with business objectivesMentor and develop department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementCollaborate with sales and marketing to ensure operational readiness for demand fluctuationsOversee compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsManage budgets and capital investment projects to support growth and profitabilityWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing or related industriesProven success scaling operations in a growth-focused, small-to-mid-sized business environmentStrong expertise in process optimization, production planning, and supply chain managementEffective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teamsStrategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving capabilityBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)Nice To HaveExperience driving operational excellence in entrepreneurial or privately held companiesBackground in manufacturing technology upgrades or Lean Six Sigma initiatives#COOJobs #ManufacturingLeadership #OperationalExcellence #HutchinsonMNJobs#INJUL2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
