OverviewCamping World is seeking a General Manager for our growing team.Camping World is currently seeking a General Manager who creates and oversees all phases of the dealership operations to ensure maximum sales and dealership profitability are obtained in a customer centric environment.ResponsibilitiesManage a quality and knowledgeable sales teamDevelop unique ways to drive sales and increase store profitabilityMaintain in-stock levels through accurate inventory managementDevelop unique and creative ways to drive salesOversee the Profit and Loss and budget responsibility and manages to the budget accordinglyInitiate and tracks cost control mechanismsModel and promote great customer service behaviorSelect and develop staff for growth and development opportunitiesMaintain a safe work area for employees and customersQualificationsA Bachelor/'s degree is helpful, but we will consider applicable work experience in lieu of a degreeExperience managing a profit centerCoach, mentor and develop others as demonstrated by previous management experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAct in a professional manner while effectively handling problems and facilitate successful outcomesUse and apply independent judgment and discretion to address both short and long-term issuesMay lift up to 25 lbs and / or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesPeriods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bendingBenefitsIn addition to competitive pay, we offer Paid Time Off, 401(k), an Employee Assistance Program, Good Sam Roadside Assistance, discounts, paid parental leave (if eligibility is met), Tuition Reimbursement (if eligibility is met), and on the job training opportunities.
