About the TeamYou will be an important member of the team responsible for global Treasury operations at this highly regarded Fortune 500 company. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and not afraid of new challenges and opportunities. At Williams-Sonoma, the Treasury team manages, protects, and optimizes the company's cash. You will be part of a small and dynamic team with opportunities to learn and explore all facets of treasury. This role is based in San Francisco.About the RoleThe Senior Treasury Analyst's role will support daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and bank account administration.This role requires collaboration with internal business partners to ensure accurate treasury reporting, compliance with internal controls, and assisting with treasury projects to optimize cash flow and risk management.ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining the company's daily cash position and cash flow forecastManage excess cash and maximize return on investments in compliance with investment policyMaintain schedules related to the company's share repurchase programPerform core Treasury related activities such as initiating wire transfers and month-end close processesManage bank account structure, authorized signatory records, and online banking servicesAdminister user access for online banking portals in accordance with the company's policiesAssist in automating treasury functions and improving internal controls by leveraging Treasury Management System (Kyriba).Assist with our global portfolio of stores, including but not limited to:Manage the banking requirements for new and existing storesManage the courier service and all store depository needs of our storesAssist with quarterly and annual schedules for audit and Sarbanes-Oxley complianceTrack and monitor key treasury metrics and KPIs and assist with preparation of treasury dashboardsTrack and monitor FX exposuresAssist with cash repatriation initiativesAssist with process documentation and process improvementRecommend and implement treasury best practice to improve efficiency and reduce costProvide support to a variety of treasury-related functions and serve as back up for other team membersCriteriaBachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Treasury or Finance strongly preferredPrior related finance work experience (5+ years)Strong desire to develop professional skills and advance careerWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)Prior experience with a Treasury Management System (Kyriba) strongly desiredKnowledge of Oracle and Essbase a plusPossess quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with intellectual curiosity and a bias for actionA team player with a strong work ethic with confidence and ability to work independentlyUnquestioned attention to detail and organizational skillsA resourceful and creative problem solver with excellent collaboration and communication skillsAbility to provide sound financial and business judgment, and strategic thinkingAbility to drive results in a fast-paced/deadline-oriented environmentThis role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the officeOur Culture & ValuesWe believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
