Talascend is currently seeking a Director Of Quality Engineering for a contract opportunity with our client in Atlanta, Georgia.OverviewAs the Director of Quality Engineering, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to driving excellence in product and service delivery. You will shape and execute strategic quality initiatives, leveraging advanced methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.ResponsibilitiesInspire and mentor the Quality Engineering team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.Design and implement robust quality systems, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and industry standards.Monitor and analyze complex quality metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and ensure consistent product excellence.Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to embed quality into every phase of the product lifecycle.Champion lean principles, root cause analysis, and proactive problem-solving to enhance processes and reduce defects.QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership rolesPreferred: Masters degree in Engineering or related disciplineRequirementsProven expertise in quality methodologies such as DOE, FMEA, SPCStrong analytical, decision-making, and data-driven problem-solving skillsDemonstrated success in leading teams and implementing strategic quality initiativesPreferred RequirementsCertifications: Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, CRE, PMPExperience with regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, IATF)Visionary mindset with the ability to influence and drive organizational changeWe thank all applicants for their interest.
