In this role, you will provide proactive project and program support to ensure the successful execution of the deployed Strategic Weapon System (SWS) and Deployed Submarine Systems (DSS) missions.Drawing on prior Navy/submarine experience, SWS, training, documentation, and maintenance programs, the analyst will serve as a key liaison between Navy leadership, military personnel, and contractors. They will support the technical and programmatic aspects of the SWS Launcher program, including its design, development, execution, and reporting.What You’ll DoCollect and develop program status and metrics updates for external program reporting.Develop, maintain, issue and track weekly updates for the program manager which may include agenda, minutes and action items as required.Coordinate with SSP Branches, Naval Systems Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane and contractors in the evaluation, inspection, development, refresh or production of the SWS Launcher System.Develop and review documentation, requirements, and supporting material for technical accuracy and impact to the SWS Launcher System including Requirements Documents.Review Design Disclosures, Change Requests, Discrepancy Reports, & other documentation to report and resolve interference, coordination and correlation issues.Participate in Integration Program Team activities with program leads and assist in analysis of the project throughout the process.Work with multiple organizations to ensure compliance with requirements, provide verification and collection of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for program records.Format specifications, directives, and correspondence in accordance with Navy and local requirements for the local JRC team.Perform analysis of alternatives, technical evaluation of documentation, and problem/issue resolution.Weekly taskings of the SSP Launcher Branch as needed by the Branch Head, Branch Deputy and Section Heads.Provide support to the Launcher Technical branch on issues concerning future and current capabilities associated with the Launcher Subsystem.Provide support to the Launcher Branch for Facility Technical Proficiency Evaluation (FTPE) leads to multiple sites in the conduct of evaluations.Support efforts to design, develop, program, and evaluate programs to support readiness, operations, infrastructure, manpower analysis, and logistics.Provide risk management plans that include risk identification, assessment, adjudication, and response strategies.Provide programmatic support through various programs within the Launcher Branch in assistance to the program managers as assigned by branch leadership.What You Bring5+ years of Program Management experience (PMP certification not required)An active DoD Security Clearance at SECRET level (or have held one in good standing within the past 2 years)Deployed Submarine (SSBN/SSGN/SSN) experience preferred.Experience leading a technical team to accomplish time-critical objectives.Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment with little direction, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks.Excellent communicator who is comfortable in front of large teams and senior Defense Department leaders.Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).Ability to work in high-pressure, high-visibility situations.This job is onsite at Washington Navy Yard.Ability to travel up to 25%.Experience with the Trident-D5 Weapon System a plus.Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) experience a plus.BenefitsA competitive compensation packageAn exceptional employee benefits program, providing support for our team members' well-being and successThe chance to contribute to a high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) programs, making a meaningful differenceA collaborative work environment where teamwork, creativity, and innovation thriveOpportunities for professional growth and development, helping you advance your career #J-18808-Ljbffr
