We are seeking a Senior MCM Doctrine & Tactics Analyst to provide support to the Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (MIREM) in San Diego, CA.What will the Senior MCM Doctrine & Tactics Analyst at Terrestris do?The Senior MCM Doctrine & Tactics Analyst will provide expertise in the design, execution, and assessment of mine countermeasures (MCM) exercises and scenarios. They will support the development and validation of MCM-related Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), ensuring gaps are identified and addressed through tactically relevant events. This role includes observing and analyzing exercise execution, reconstructing events, and contributing to reports that evaluate system, sensor, and crew performance. The analyst will ensure findings directly inform the refinement of MCM doctrine and operational tactics to enhance fleet effectiveness.What does a typical day look like for a Senior MCM Doctrine & Tactics Analyst?You will:Support and design test and data collection plans for exercises.Serve as observer aboard exercise units to coordinate observation and data collection efforts to support doctrine and tactical development.Develop exercise messages and reports.Support reconstruction of exercise events.Support doctrine / TTP validation and product modifications.Analyze exercise results IAW the Execution Plan.Support new concept tactical development and emerging system analysis.What qualifications do you look for?You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:Fifteen years of Navy experience relating to surface/aircraft/expeditionary MCM operations and warfare tasks.Four years of experience in managing projects or programs.Capability for preparation of briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct.Possession of excellent analytical problem-solving skills.Possession of excellent oral and writing skills.Staff level assignments are highly desirable.Active Secret clearance or Secret eligibility.What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?We offer outstanding benefits including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
