We combine powerful partnerships, cutting-edge streaming technology, and smart distribution to make sure fans can watch their teams how they want, whether that’s through a direct-to-consumer streaming platform or major cable providers.**The Position**: We are looking for an experienced **Director of Sales, North/Wisconsin** to add to our ad sales organization, leading the region across Minneapolis and Milwaukee, this role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue goals and changing the way advertisers' partner with local sports. This role will also oversee linear and streaming partnerships for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Lynx, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales, this role leads the efforts in driving demand for the FanDuel Sports Network properties in the Minneapolis and Milwaukee marketplaces. This role will lead a team of sellers and coordinators to achieve revenue targets through sponsorship, linear, and streaming platforms. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships, drive incremental growth, across the Local and National landscape. This candidate will have an intimate knowledge of the Minneapolis and Milwaukee marketplaces through both client and agency relationships. This position will interface and collaborate with multiple levels of sales management, both at the corporate level and at the regional level, be able to challenge and motivate a staff of sellers and coordinators and have a deep understanding of the changing sports media landscape.This is a hybrid position located in Minneapolis, MN.**The Game Plan** (What you will do): * Work with the Regional Vice President of Sales and other members of sales management to develop and implement strategy that will achieve stated revenue goals with new business being a primary focus.* Lead, mentor and develop a team of account executives and coordinators.* Have a strong knowledge of the NBA, NHL, and MLB media landscape, both broadly and specific to designated region.* Be the primary point of contact in-market for national account discussions.* Provide marketplace insight for account executives.* Meet with existing advertisers and new business clients on a recurring basis to drive incremental revenue growth.* Keep RVPOS and Corporate Sales Management team up to date on marketplace activity and ensure accurate forecasting.* Assist in entertainment of national advertisers and partners at games and events.* Respond to ad hoc sales requests from ad sales leadership, finance, ad sales partners and more.**The Stats** (What to bring): * Bachelor's degree required.* 10+ years of experience in sports, sports media and partnership development and management.* Prior success in driving new business/incremental revenue strategies with a focus on linear and streaming advertising sales.* Existing network of contacts in the sports and sports media landscape with a strong presence in the Minneapolis and Milwaukee marketplace.* Strong understanding of linear, digital and multi-platform ad sales approach.* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain working relationships internally and externally.* Knowledge of ratings analysis, inventory management and effective inventory pricing.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other proprietary software.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* High attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.* Good organizational skills and the ability to work as a member of a team and individually.* Flexibility to travel as needed and work evenings or weekends for client meetings, industry events or other business-related activities.* Proficiency in Wide Orbit suite of products preferred.* Prior experience in local sports media landscape preferred.**Player Benefits:*** Healthcare Benefits – Start 1st day of employment* Wellness Program Incentive* 401K – Match up to 4%* Paid Time Off (Vacation, Personal)* Company Holidays* Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Benefits* Employee DiscountsThe Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range is $155,000 - $170,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) plan.
