Whether dressing for work, everyday, or special occasions, Express ensures you look and feel your best, wherever life takes you.The Company operates over 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, the online store at , and the Express mobile app.Store Name: Burlington MallResponsibilitiesExpress is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team.The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experience for customers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.Provide in-the-moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards.Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.Assist in training associates on store operations, product knowledge, policies, and procedures.Execute action plans that optimize results.Handle all aspects of daily store operations.Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations, and in-store activities.Monitor and analyze the customer service provided by team members.Build an effective schedule with the right associates in the right place at the right time.Promote and support an environment focused on delivering excellent in-store customer experiences.Effectively resolve customer service issues to positive outcomes.Lead and model our customer experience standards.Display expert knowledge of products, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs.Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement, etc.Perform other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.Required Experience & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.At least 1 year of retail experience.Proficient in the use of technology (iPad, registers).Availability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours.Ability to meet physical requirements.Critical Skills & AttributesPrevious retail experience preferred.Effective communication skills with customers, peers, and supervisors.Demonstrated sales accountability.Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team.Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and processes simultaneously.Benefits and CompensationPHOENIX offers a range of benefits to support full-time associates' health and long-term financial security, including:Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match.Merchandise discount.Paid Time Off.Parental leave for new parents.For part-time associates, PHOENIX partners with LIG Solutions to help obtain individual insurance coverage, including major medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, and life insurance.Part-time associates may also be eligible for paid sick leave, public health emergency leave, participation in the 401(k) and Roth 401(k), merchandise discounts, incentive programs, and voluntary benefits through YouDecide.Actual compensation depends on factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.If you would like to learn more about the California Consumer Privacy Act, click here.PHOENIX is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
