OverviewAt Leidos' High Fidelity Simulation Business Area, we are driving the future of naval simulation, training, and analysis for the US Navy. You will work with state-of-the-art technology developing trainers the US Navy deploys, including systems such as CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You will be part of a high-powered team, contributing to trainer deliveries used by US Navy Fleet personnel. This co-op experience provides ongoing opportunities to learn new skills and have your work directly impact naval capabilities. This co-op rotation will start in January 2026 and conclude in August 2026. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple experiences.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and cable computer-based systems, configure servers, and perform integration testing and validation.Work on system foundation components such as building Linux system images and developing power management scripts.Operate in a Linux OS environment; contribute to actual military training systems and trainer deliveries.Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, reliable training solutions used by the U.S. Navy.QualificationsYou MUST be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid Linux and computer engineering skills.You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op.You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance; employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.You WILL be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy; candidates must be dedicated to producing quality work and attentive to detail.Additional notes: The program emphasizes opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems and to develop skills in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
