OverviewSenior Backend/Java AWS Developer is sought for a 12+ month engagement in Wilmington, DE. The role focuses on analysis and design, application development, cloud-native services, and production support within large/complex IT solutions related to passenger rail transportation systems.ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Design Support: Participate in client discussions to support technical analysis on business requirements and priorities. Perform analysis, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of large/complex IT solutions related to passenger rail transportation systems. Conduct detailed business analysis to architect and design IT solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.Application Development: Design, develop, test, and implement business-critical, cloud-native, enterprise-level services focusing on high availability and high performance. Develop event-driven backend services for EDI transactions. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Provide production and testing support. Perform ongoing support, problem analysis, and resolution.
