TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Job SummaryTestPros is seeking a Cloud & Systems Engineer (Oracle/Infrastructure O&M) in the Capital region for a federal contract.This project is to provide operations, maintenance, and support for its Federal Financial Management System (FFMS) and the Office of Financial Management General Support Systems (OFM GSS), both hosted in AWS cloud environments.Work includes:Infrastructure O&M: servers, VMs, middleware, databases, networks, and interfaces.IV&V testing: independent validation of software changes and 508 compliance.Support services: password management, BI reports/dashboards, integrated data services, and surge support.Position: Full-timeCitizenship: U.S. CitizenshipLocation: Onsite in the DC Metro areaClearance: ICE/DHS suitability clearanceResponsibilities and DutiesDesign, develop, and maintain cloud and virtualized environments, ensuring high availability and scalability of deployed systems.Manage and configure load balancer devices to optimize traffic distribution and system performance.Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications and microservices architecture.Support and administer Oracle Databases and Oracle Middleware to ensure reliability, performance, and security.Collaborate with software teams to support Java/J2EE application development and deployment.Manage and support Windows and Linux-based application servers across development and production environments.Leverage automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Airflow, and Liquibase for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and orchestration.Create, maintain, and optimize Lambda functions to support serverless architecture within cloud platforms.Support the implementation and maintenance of business intelligence and reporting municate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ensure secure and efficient operations of financial systems platforms, maintaining compliance with relevant standards.Utilize MS Office 365 tools for documentation, collaboration, and reporting tasks.Act as a subject matter expert for cloud services and Oracle suite administration.Additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications and SkillsAt least 5 years of experience working as a System Engineer responsible for development and operations of cloud and other virtualized environmentsAt least 5 years of experience working with:Load balancer devicesLambda functionsContainerizationsOracle DatabasesOracle MiddlewareJava/J2EEMS Office 365Previous experience and expertise in load balancer devices, Windows application servers, JAVA, and Oracle middleware to handle business process orchestration and automation/deployments tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Airflow, and LiquibaseExpert experience supporting cloud and virtual environmentsTechnically able to discuss technical issues with non-technical staffPrevious experience supporting financial system platformsAbility to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust ClearancePrevious DHS/ICE experience isExperience in deploying and maintaining systems or services in a Windows and Linux environments.Experience in developing and deploying business intelligence reporting solutions.Expert in Oracle suite administration.BenefitsTestPros offers a competitive salary, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, opportunities for professional growth, cell phone discounts, and much more.
