Join NELLSON and Become Part of a Winning Team of Professionals!We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Vice President of IT to join Nellson.POSITION SUMMARY :A VP of IT (Vice President of Information Technology) is a senior executive responsible for leading and managing an organization's information technology strategies and operations. This role involves setting the strategic direction for IT investments, overseeing infrastructure, managing IT teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals. They also play a key role in budgeting, vendor relationships, and risk management.This position reports directly to Chief Financial Officer .ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Direct Reports - 4 Department size; 15 Exempt employeesDeveloping and implementing IT strategies that align with overall business objectives.Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.Managing and mentoring IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met.Identifying and mitigating IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats and data breaches.Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to leverage them to improve business operations and gain a competitive advantage.Ensuring IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry municating IT strategies and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of various IT domains, including enterprise systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and agile methodologies.Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and implement long-term IT strategies that support business goals.Leadership and Management : Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage budgets, and build strong munication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and resolve complex IT-related issues.Business Acumen : Understanding of business operations and the ability to align IT initiatives with business needs.Education : A master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related fieldExperience : Significant experience in IT management, including strategic planning and execution.At Nellson, we invest in highly talented individuals and provide them with opportunities to continuously learn and grow to realize their full potential.
