For more information, visit About the Role We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who thrives in the fast-moving world of AI and high-growth startups. In this role, you’ll be more than a steward of the numbers—you’ll be a strategic partner shaping how we scale. This role blends hands-on financial management with forward-looking analysis—overseeing budgets, forecasts, and compliance while providing insights that shape business strategy. You will be the bridge between numbers and decisions, ensuring our resources are optimized, risks are managed, and opportunities are seized. Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Manage and oversee all aspects of daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), fixed assets, and payroll Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP to present to the CEO and other stakeholders Generate management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) summaries for leadership review Compliance and Audit Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal tax regulations Coordinate audits and create audit-ready documentation Manage tax filings in partnership with external consultants as needed Process Improvements Identify gaps in current systems and processes; design and implement accounting and reporting improvements to optimize efficiency Ensure effective use of ERP and financial software platforms Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with business and operations teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting and COGS tracking Support teams with financial data and help develop decision-making frameworks Assist with ad hoc/special projects, as needed Qualifications Public accounting experience and CPA certification 5+ years of finance and accounting experience with solid GAAP knowledge Strong revenue accounting experience, with practical knowledge of ASC 606 Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field (or equivalent) Proficient in tools such as NetSuite, Gusto, Workday, , Shareworks Strong quantitative abilities and advanced Excel skills Experienced in fast-paced work environments Benefits Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family Top-tier 401(K) plan with company matching Paid time off and paid holidays Paid parental leave FSA and commuter benefits programs Team activity budget The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training.
